Hole 1 Par 4
Course Hints: A beautiful starting hole, tree lined left and right, that is slightly dog-leg left. Avoid the bunkers to the right with your tee ball to set up a shot that requires precision to a green guarded by bunkers left and right.
Hole 2 Par 4
Course Hints: A solid drive to an open and large landing area will provide an ample opportunity for your approach. Shot to a slightly uphill green that usually requires one more club carry to gauge the distance accurately.
Hole 3 Par 5
Course Hints: The shortest of the par 5’s. This downhill dog-leg left warrants many birdies if the tee shot is placed in the fairway between the bunkers. The longer hitters try for this green in two. The green is guarded by bunkers front and back, which requires carry for most shots approaching the green.
Hole 4 Par 4
Course Hints: Don’t be fooled by the view from the tee. This hole is sneaky and difficult due to the severe undulation and slope of the green left to right. It is imperative to keep the ball below the hole with any pin placement other than back right on the green.
Hole 5 Par 3
Course Hints: This smallest green area of all the par 3’s requires a precise tee shot or our short game will be tested due to the undulating breaks that abound on the green. This hole ranks as one of the most difficult for lower handicap players.
Hole 6 Par 5
Course Hints: Avoid the trees on the left of the tee to set up a position shot that will provide that player the options of laying up short of center fairway bunkers. These are 95 – 115 yards short of the green. Longball hitters can go for the green in two.
Hole 7 Par 4
Course Hints: A short uphill par 4 that provides good birdie opportunity for all skill levels. The putting surface is the flattest of all the greens, contributing to a birdie opportunity. Taking one more club selection on your approach shot usually provides the desired result due to the holes uphill nature.
Hole 8 Par 3
Course Hints: This green, surrounded by strategically placed bunkers, places a premium on proper club selection. Anything left or right will most likely come to rest in one of these bunkers.
Hole 9 Par 4
Course Hints: A dog-leg right that requires precision from the tee to the green. An ideal tee shot is center left to the fairway. Your approach shot must carry a large bunker located directly in front of the green. This green boasts a large mound that will assuredly be encountered once on the putting surface.
Hole 10 Par 4
Course Hints: Our signature hole that will leave an impression second to none! The elevated tee overlooking Lake Griffin is as challenging as it I beautiful. A precision tee shot, followed by a targeted shot is a must on this scenic, spectacular hole.
Hole 11 Par 4
Course Hints: Avoid the fairway bunker on the left by staying to the right side of the fairway off the tee. The shot to the green requires a full carry, due to the heightened approach that doesn’t allow much run.
Hole 12 Par 5
Course Hints: This narrow par 5 requires a well-placed tee ball that will then require a positioned shot short of the creek running in front of the green. The green is well guarded by a hazard on the left side from tee to green, the most demanding par 5 on the course!
Hole 13 Par 3
Course Hints: On this par 3, you will encounter water to carry to a green that has much width but very little depth. Therefore the club selection must be precise off the teen.
Hole 14 Par 4
Course Hints: Avoid the bunkers on the right with your tee shot. They catch many tee shots because they are further left than they appear form the tee due to the uphill shot. An approach shot not on the green will catch the bunker on the right or the severe slope on the left that runs away from the green.
Hole 15 Par 4
Course Hints: Avoiding the fairway bunkers on the left will leave a downhill approach shot to a green that slopes left to right.
Hole 16 Par 3
Course Hints: The longest Par 3 of the course. An elevated tee shot over the water will get you a large green. Subtle undulations on the green will make putting a challenge on this picturesque hole!
Hole 17 Par 4
Course Hints: An elevated tee shot to a landing area that is more generous than it appears from the tee. Avoid the bunkers on the left to set up an approach shot to a green that runs left to right. Keep the ball right of the flag to set up the best putting opportunity.
Hole 18 Par 5
Course Hints: Go ahead and “air it out” off the tee. This Par 5 boasts one of the most generous landing areas of all finishing holes. The key of this hole is to position your ball so your approach shot is manageable. Approximately 135 yards from the green the fairway drops to another plateau. Great finishing hole that caps off a fabulous 18 holes of golf overlooking beautiful Lake Griffin.
